About Me

Hi, I'm Eric.  I'm a passionate and experienced educator dedicated to helping students achieve their academic goals. A graduate of Thomas Jefferson High School for Science and Technology and an honors English undergraduate major at Davidson College, I obtained a Master's in Education from George Mason University and taught English and STEAM in Fairfax County Public Schools. In previous work, I've taught English as a second language.  Recently, as a Google Certified ChromeOS Administrator, I have been working in technology administration within the FCPS organization.

My commitment to language and cultural understanding is aided by my four years living in Japan, where I gained proficiency in the Japanese language. This experience provided me with a unique perspective on language acquisition and cross-cultural communication.

As the owner of this tutoring business, I am committed to providing high-quality, personalized instruction. I have also partnered with other tutors specializing in various subjects to offer comprehensive academic support, including expertise in computer science, Japanese, English, Math, and SAT and ACT test preparation.
